But we’ve all been there – you bring a handful of great cigars and only half the people smoke even half of it. Here’s my guide to three cigars that will make you proud to share, might surprise and delight your friends and family who know a little about cigars, and that won’t break the bank, or your heart, if they’re left only half-enjoyed.

Winter Old Fashioned:
3 oz Rye Whiskey
.5 oz Cardamom Simple Syrup
4 dashes Walnut Bitters
Stir with ice
Garnish with flamed orange peel
Cardamom Simple Syrup:
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
3 lemon peels
Dash vanilla extract ½ cup crushed
Cardamom Pods
Bring to boil and simmer til reduced by half. Strain out into a serving bottle.
