Toshiyuki "CHEETAH" Osawa of Cheetah Custom Cycles has spent years building bikes for the track. This time, he wanted something different. Rather than reinvent the Indian Chief Vintage, CHEETAH embraced what he already loved about the bike, making subtle changes and adding signature details to make it his own. The result is a custom Chief Vintage that stays true to the original while carrying a distinct CHEETAH style, built to be ridden and approachable enough to inspire others to create their own. DicE Magazine caught up with CHEETAH for a day in Japan to talk through the build, his approach to customization, and the inspiration behind it.
